Established in 1968, as a regional supercomputing centre following the recommendations of the Flower report, the University of London Computer Centre (ULCC) has evolved into one of the leading IT service providers to the UK education sector.
Today, we support Moodle for over 3 million registered users across 150 Further and Higher Education institutions, including Manchester Metropolitan University, King’s College and University of London International Academy.
We work closely with key partners and influencers in the education sector as part of our ongoing commitment to expand the portfolio of solutions available to the academic, public, not-for-profit and commercial sectors. Our latest partnership with plagiarism prevention provider Ephorus enables customers of our Hosted Moodle Service to automatically check every submission with billions of sources on the internet as well as previously submitted work within an institution. More information on our partnership with Ephorus can be found on our website.
